Block:     Cherry
Ink:         Mixes of copper, umber, 2 reds
Paper:     BFK Lightweight white or Fabriano Ingres cream
Process:  This is a "puzzle" piece, in which the block was sawn in 5 pieces prior to printing. Each piece is inked separately with its separate color, the block is assembled at press.
Image:     Done for an exchange among printmakers all over the world. The theme was "Where I live." I simply asked myself the question: "where do I live?" and came up with the answer: "entre viento y sol" (amid wind and sun"). Those two natural forces I think typify the desert I love.

This original block is available for sale.
