This woodcut was a commission that still hangs along with the block in the collector's lobby. There is also a black and white version of the same image. One of my favorite secret (not so secret) views of the Mojave Desert, along a well traveled highway. No one stops here, this road to nowhere in the middle of the open Southwest lands. Always quiet, always windy, always beckoning and still.
