In my travels I was coming South from the Pacific Northwest through rainstorms and cloudy skies when, right around a tree darkened bend, I suddenly saw the light of the sun shining on the distant desert lands. I love the greenery of the North but coming home to open roads and sunshine always feels like...coming home!
